We booked through Airbnb for a stay at the Summer Tiki House in Knoxville, Tennessee and although it wasn't for a vacation in the mountains, we made an adventure out of it anyway!

We are in the process of buying a home and found ourselves homeless for a week and in need of living quarters while patiently waiting for closing day. With 2 cats in tow, we couldn't just bunk with a friend.
After hours of research to find a comfortable spot to hang our hat, we settled on the Summer Tiki House in Knoxville.
- From start to finish, the hosts were absolutely fantastic. Excellent communication.
- The pictures shown in the listing are accurate, which is a welcome change from some other guest houses we have stayed in that aren't worth mentioning.
- 5 stars for cleanliness (which is most important to us)
- And another set of 5 stars for having all the comforts of home. Extra blankets and pillows, full coffee station, laundry in house, bath amenities and more.
So although we live in Tennessee and weren't on a vacation, we still made an adventure out of our stay at this guest house and got in a couple of day trips!
