Of course I didn't tell anyone where I was going when I left town for 3 weeks so upon my return, friends were all asking... where the heck did you go? Here's my complete itinerary for the Road Trip From Mackinac Island in Michigan to St. Petersburg, Florida that allowed me a chance to live 'vanlife' for a while.
PS I'm hooked!
The trip's purpose was for work so although there are likely many more stops that could have perfected this trip, we were on a schedule so we made the best of the locations at our disposal. Personally, I think it was just right. Just enough adventures to keep us from getting bored, and just enough down time to relax!

Florida - Ended in St. Petersburg!
Our August trip took us 3 weeks and it was a perfect time of year to get out of the Florida heat for a while.
We came back just in time for Hurricane Idalia, who side swiped the gulf side of Florida and hit the big bend area. Sending much love and prayers to all who was in her path.
